We predict there will be a resurgence of bold, geometric patterns used in unexpected ways, such as on ceilings or within transitional spaces, to create dynamic, eye-catching interiors; this will be the return of geometric designs in our beloved homes.”

Saturation is a word I would use for what I am seeing. “I am looking forward to textures taking center stage in interior design plans for 2025, particularly those featuring jewel tone colors,” Vaness with Style My Abode shares. “Textures add depth and visual interest to our living spaces. Industrial-style decor, with its stark, mechanical look, will also decline, replaced by softer, handmade materials like eco-clay, textured linens, and crafted wood. Sustainability will be at the core of design, with a preference for pieces that are hand-crafted, ethically sourced, and made to last — embracing the idea that each item tells a story, adds warmth, and honors the beauty of natural imperfection,” Rostami predicts.

“Into the next year, as soft curves and organic shapes dominate interior design, metal accents are also evolving to align with this shift. Hard, glossy metals are giving way to matte, brushed, and natural textured finishes. Warm metals like brass and bronze are gaining popularity, seamlessly blending with natural materials such as wood and stone to create a balanced and sophisticated aesthetic,” Aydan Cayli with Balasagundetails. “From furniture legs to lighting fixtures and decorative accessories, metal details not only enhance the sustainable design approach but also add a touch of modern elegance to spaces.’’
